Guide verification: self-employment certificate now required
November 2, 2026
From 2026, guides in Uzbekistan are required to work as self-employed. So Peakly now asks for a self-employment certificate during verification — it's quick and done once.
What changed
On the "Documents" step, guides first choose how they work:
- Self-employed — upload your self-employment certificate and a passport scan. Payouts go to your card.
- Legal entity / sole proprietor — upload the company registration certificate and the director's passport, and enter the tax ID (INN). A tour operator license is optional. Payouts go to a bank account.
The form only shows the fields you need. The data is seen only by Peakly moderation and is never shown on your public profile.
Already verified guides
If your profile is already verified, you don't need to change anything right now — tours and bookings work as before. We'll write separately about next steps, well in advance.
Where to verify
In the Peakly Guide app and in the seller dashboard on the website. Review takes up to a few business days, and you'll get a notification with the result.
